Activities

Okay - I've been a little busy with my multitude of commitments since the last post.

I have been developing the solarcar site again, (actively at the moment actually). The largest issue with that is that the imagecache module needs either the files to be private, or clean urls. I would rather have the files be downloadable, thus I would prefer them not to be private, and clean urls aren't an option on the Shell server at New Paltz, so I'm trying to find a way around that.

I have also been working at Twelvegrove Consulting pretty well now. Should be getting my first paycheck soon. (not sure how much my employer would allow me to say in public, so I'm not going to comment on it).

In addition, there was an event yesterday at New Paltz - Hudson Valley Drupal Camp 2009 - this was an awesome event where we had a few New Paltz students, one faculty member, and a bunch of local drupallers (mostly from the city) come and make presentations to others. I held a beginner's theming session, though only one person showed up for it.

Also, yesterday, my professor with whom I raised the idea for an independent study with earlier in the semester, let me know that I could use that same idea for a thesis. I shall be considering that, as I also await the class schedule for next semester to be released and see what classes are available next semester.

I also had to miss the Senate Retreat this weekend due to the Drupal Camp event. Can't say I really mind that, but I still typically had a lot of fun at Frost Valley on the Retreat.
